Science
With a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from University of Tennessee, Knoxville, I was trained as a scientist.
I stopped publishing papers a few years ago, but I have never stopped researching. Recently, I expanded my interests to include data science. Here are a few awards I have received:
- In 2021, a paper I coauthored has received the 10-years Test-of-Time award at ACM Middleware 2021.
- In 2008, a paper I first-authored has received the best paper award at the Real-Time Systems Symposium.

For me, graphics design is more than a hobby. I was trained in the Digital Media Art program at Irvine Valley College.
